Taylor Wimpey Names Jennie Daly As New CEO

Taylor Wimpey has named Jennie Daly as its new CEO, with Daly set to take on the role from April.

The house building firm has said Daly, who currently serves as group operations director, will replace Pete Redfern as company CEO after he announced his resignation in December after almost 15 years leading the company.

According to Taylor Wimpey, Daly’s appointment follows a “thorough recruitment and selection process” which included a long list of industry and non-industry candidates. Daly, who first joined Taylor Wimpey in 2014, comes into the position with almost 30 years of experience in house building and planning. She will receive £750,000 per annum and is set to be appointed into the role following Taylor Wimpey’s annual general meeting on April 26.

Following her appointment, Daly said, “It is an honour and privilege to take on the role of CEO at Taylor Wimpey and I am delighted to have the support of the board and our executive and wider teams.”

This is an outstanding business with a strong landbank and strategic land pipeline, and a talented and committed team.

“Taylor Wimpey is strongly positioned to deliver sustainable sector-leading growth and returns, whilst always operating as a responsible business.”
