Jon Moeller To Succeed David Taylor As Procter & Gamble CEO

On Thursday, Procter & Gamble announced that Jon Moeller will become CEO in November, taking over from David Taylor who will become the company’s executive chairman.

Moeller currently stands as vice chairman and chief operating officer of Procter & Gamble. As well as becoming CEO, Moeller will take over as the company’s president, a title which is currently held by Taylor.

Moeller graduated from Cornell University in 1986 and later received an M.B.A from the same institution in 1988. Since then, he has worked at the consumer good giant, initially hired as a cost analyst for Procter & Gambles food products division. Moeller has said he is honoured to be given the opportunity to serve as Procter & Gamble’s CEO.

Lead director of Procter & Gamble’s board, James McNerney, has said Moeller is an outstanding leader and that the company will benefit from his ongoing leadership in the coming years.
