Despite the rapid pace of automation and digitalization, building a successful business remains impossible without an engaged and proactive team. Mikhail Kashurin, founder and CEO of Global People LLC, has developed a unique team-building strategy designed to drive steady business growth—unlocking opportunities for rapid scaling and increased profitability.
Scaling Banks and Telecom
Mikhail brings 15 years of experience in business development and operational management. Having led projects in the banking sector—most notably at the Ural Bank for Reconstruction and Development, one of Russia’s largest financial institutions—he successfully managed distributed teams during the 2014-2015 currency crisis and steered steady growth throughout the pandemic. As head of the retail business division "Center," Mikhail opened 17 new bank branches, expanding the network to 30 locations, and achieved a multiple-fold increase in the loan portfolio.
In 2021, Mikhail founded Global People LLC, a company specializing in service operations. Its largest client is Comcast/Xfinity, a major player in the U.S. telecom industry. While the company’s primary presence is in Florida, it also operates across other states. What sets Global People apart is its uniquely structured teamwork. Legally, the technicians work within a business partnership model, but Mikhail has infused this framework with his proprietary training methods and a distinctive approach to organizing professional activities.
“When I founded the company, I knew from the start that I was focused on growth and scaling. That’s why I didn’t settle for simply creating job descriptions—I developed an original training program that combines essential technical modules with coaching elements,” says Mikhail Kashurin.
Coaching That Leads Teams to Success
Mikhail Kashurin began integrating coaching technologies into his work back in the banking sector. In 2012, he completed training at the Institute of Coaching and Business Philosophy, becoming a certified business coach. Additionally, Mikhail has completed programs at IBC Business Education and GTC, focusing on corporate training strategies.
“I have always been deeply interested in performance management and team organization. On a broader scale, engaged employees who take pride in delivering quality work are the true drivers of any company’s growth. The main challenge with automation and digitalization is that they reduce people to the level of machines, replacing tasks with automated processes that cannot yet fully replicate human effort. As a result, employees begin to act like machines and feel like mere cogs in the system. This mindset is the primary reason companies lose efficiency,” explains Mikhail.
When structuring operations at Global People LLC, Mikhail placed particular emphasis on cultivating a proactive mindset among employees.
A Signature Management Approach: Training, Engagement, and Scaling
Mikhail Kashurin’s expertise as a business coach enabled him to show employees how professional development and high-quality performance can serve as a foundation for personal growth. He emphasizes that this approach is effective only when a company truly creates an environment that fosters the development of its people. “It was important to me that employees see the impact of their work and understand that the future of the company depends on each individual’s contribution. When people recognize that they are valued and essential, they stop viewing the company merely as a paycheck and become genuinely engaged in its growth. This process ultimately becomes the driving force behind future scaling,” Mikhail explains.
Another distinctive element in his training program was the creation of proprietary job descriptions. Rather than relying on standard telecom industry manuals, Mikhail developed his own — tailored to the specific nuances of the work. “I temporarily stepped into the technician’s role myself, handling orders and maintaining infrastructure. This was necessary to fully understand the nature of the work, identify bottlenecks, and develop workflows that would solve tasks as quickly and efficiently as possible,” Mikhail stresses.
Kashurin’s unparalleled approach has fueled rapid and steady growth for Global People LLC. Over four years, the company has expanded regionally across the U.S. market, servicing 200,000 subscribers—and, according to the entrepreneur, this is just the beginning. The model Mikhail built opens broad opportunities for further scaling.
Shaping the Business of the Future: From Expert Evaluation to Systemic Change
Mikhail Kashurin’s contributions to advancing entrepreneurial technologies have earned high acclaim within the business community. In June 2022, he served as a juror for the prestigious Startup Pitch Competition in Zurich, organized by Astra Global and 1step2market. The event brought together over 30 leading startups from various countries, operating in cutting-edge sectors—from gaming and healthcare to machine learning and asset management—and attracted significant attention from key venture capitalists and business leaders.
His achievements have also been highly recognized in Russia. In 2024, he won the esteemed All-Russian competition “Business Breakthrough” in the category “Breakthrough in Business Scaling.” This contest is fiercely competitive, with the organizing committee reviewing projects from more than 150 nominees. Winning the “Business Breakthrough” award is a strong testament to one’s significant contribution to innovation development within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Mikhail himself takes a philosophical view of his accomplishments: “In business, as in any process, there are inherent principles that apply across all industries. These concern personnel, entrepreneurial risks, and competitor analysis. The key is to identify these principles and learn to apply them. Such knowledge is not some secret know-how to be patented and kept under wraps. It’s a vital contribution to the entire business industry, as it reduces risks and fosters an environment of stability—not only for companies but also for the people who work within them,” says Mikhail Kashurin.
