Tua Tagovailoa Concussed As Dolphins Lose.
Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was concussed again as the Dolphins lost 31-10 against the Buffalo Bills on Thursday.
The Buffalo Bills achieved another impressive victory against the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night, propelled by three touchdown runs in the first half from James Cook and two interceptions made by Ja’Marcus Ingram, ultimately defeating the Dolphins with a score of 31-10 at Hard Rock Stadium.
The loss wasn’t Miami’s biggest problem, as quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion late in the third quarter.
The 26-year-old assumed the ‘fencing position,’ a common sign of concussion, after a tackle from Damar Hamlin. Tagovailoa, who has a history of concussions, was diagnosed just minutes after leaving the field. During the 2022 season, he experienced three concussions, including two in consecutive weeks.
Bills running back James Cook had an impressive game, scoring three touchdowns and helping his team improve to a 2-0 record for the season. Before his exit, Tagovailoa completed 17 out of 25 passes for 145 yards, including a touchdown to De’Von Achane, but he also had three passes intercepted.
Wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who faced police detention prior to Miami’s season-opening victory against the Jacksonville Jaguars last Sunday, participated in the Dolphins’ loss. Following the incident, which occurred just hours before he scored a touchdown in the 20-17 win over the Jaguars, Hill expressed his desire for the officer who detained him to be dismissed.
