  1. Switzerland, St Moritz

The Bernia train line has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008 being the highest railway line in the Alps at an incredible 2,253 metres above sea level. The train can be a round trip to soak up the Switz landscape or you can stop off at Tirano, Italy and experience a new destination before heading back.

St Mortiz is home to many spas offering a relaxing day of pampering whilst looking out over the alps escaping the cold in a jacuzzi. Reykjavik is the capital city of Iceland and a lively city to visit with plenty of museums showcasing their Viking heritage. Whilst here make sure to indulge in some local cuisine of some very unique dishes including fermented shark and sheep’s head, you read that right! If you have a sweet tooth be sure to try a Kleinur, a traditional Icelandic doughnut. You can find these in most bakery’s and supermarkets across the country, so it will be hard to avoid.

Investing in a good pair of snow boots would be wise choice before visiting Iceland, especially in the winter months. As temperatures can reach 0°C (32°F) in the southern regions and -10°C (14°F). Packing on the heavier side will all be worth it once you arrive, as this is a country you will want to explore.

You can take guided tours to all the must-see spots so you can ensure a safe and stress-free trip. In the South of Iceland you can visit, Europe´s largest glacier at the Vatnajökull National Park for a day of exploration in blue ice caves that will make you think you’re in a dream. The popular Golden circle is a perfect way to visit the landmarks of Iceland. This trip goes from Reykjavik travelling to the centre of Iceland and then back to your accommodation.
