The MolinaCares Accord Responds to Devastating Kentucky Tornadoes

LOUISVILLE, Ky.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The MolinaCares Accord (“MolinaCares”), in collaboration with Passport Health Plan by Molina Healthcare (“Passport”), is donating $200,000 to the Governor’s Tornado Relief Fund in support of residents throughout Kentucky who are being impacted by the deadly tornadoes that struck the state.

During the state of emergency, Passport is providing the following support for members and providers in the counties affected:

  • Allowing emergency refills for medications;
  • Delivering water and other supplies to impacted areas;
  • Outreaching to members and providers to ensure access to care;
  • Providing access to 24×7 Nurse Advice Line and telehealth providers;
  • Providing access to behavioral and mental health services;
  • Tracking all employees to ensure safety and well-being;
  • Working with state and local authorities as well as community organizations to support recovery efforts.
