Between each of these time blocks you have a five-minute break, and once your Pomodoro is done you can take a more extended break of about 15 to 25 minutes. The techniques tend to work because you focus entirely on one task without any distractions.

  1. Have a list of the three most important tasks for the day every morning

We are looking to kill ambiguity in a working day as it tends to be the main productivity killer. Therefore, ensure you are taking a few minutes every morning to ensure you have prioritized at least three tasks for the day. Ensure the list is clear on what you want to achieve for the three tasks. A detailed list will ensure that you are staying on track of your day’s goals.

Shuffling through your email can be time wasting. It could take you about 20 to even 30 minutes just responding to the several emails.
