Usually, pivots help unlock exponential growth, stress on the existing business model and create a change in velocity or product position. It is an alternative plan activated by the CEO, creating moderate to drastic changes on the horizon. Pivots are not always conceived and executed froma state of weakness; many companies pivot evenwhen they are on a solid revenue, sales velocity and delivering good business KPIs.
